The process

From public file to part in hand

Voxel Made To Order is a print bureau, not a marketplace of our own models. You choose a design that already exists in the open 3D-print community.

STEP 01

Search or paste a link

Use the store to search Printables, or drop in a URL from Thingiverse, MakerWorld, MyMiniFactory, Cults, or Thangs. If you designed it yourself, email the STL.

STEP 02

We check the license

Creative Commons and public-domain files are fair game for a personal print. Non-commercial licenses stay personal-use. Paid models need proof of purchase. We won’t print files that forbid reproduction.

STEP 03

Quote, then print

You get an email with material, estimated grams, print time, and a price. Approve it and we slice, print, clean supports, and inspect the part.

STEP 04

Ship or Triangle drop-off

Packed and mailed, or driven to an address in the Raleigh–Durham metro. We’ll text when it’s out the door.

Pricing is per job, not a menu of SKUs. A 20-minute clip is not a 14-hour dragon. The size selector on the order form is a starting band; the emailed quote is the number we honor.
